What is this thing?

I think it could be an isopod but am unsure. It doesn't look like ones I am familiar with in houses (usually basements, which is not where this is).

Saw this at a friend's house and thought it looked pretty gnarly. I think it's a Buddhist statue or Karura/Garuda but I'm am entirely not sure.

The disc is otherwise printed like a "normal" Bluray, but there is this metallic quadruple ring on top. The image is from the "proof" of a scene release, so it might have something to do with being an early release.

In my flat I had a normal hook for towels in the bathroom. And this one. It's obviously just a part of whole hook, but other hooks are solid (can't be disassembled). I recently bought a few machinist chests full of tools and other goodies. I'm not a machinist myself, but I'm familiar with a lot of the tools associated with the trade. This piece is a smooth solid steel cylinder with four equal spaced holes bored completely through it. It measures approximately 5.5" long and 2.25" diameter. Weighs almost 4-1/2 lbs. The end has stamped "Feb. 48 Eddie Champ." The other end is identical minus the engraving.

This plant assaulted me with prickly spores. I think the other spores might be related. Zone 6b

This picture was taken on the Rio Grande River Valley, on the left side of the image is the river, the right side is the flood control ditch. I am guessing the purpose is when the river rises too high some underground pipes divert the extra water to this so it can drain into the flood control.

It's also still ok if the specific massage philosophy claims to have other, pseudo-scientific benefits such as for chiropracty or acupuncture, as long as the tool itself is an actual massage tool. - objects that are mostly or entirely ornamental / decorative in nature like jewelry and sculptures. I'll still use something that is an ornamental version of something that has a specific non-ornamental purpose (ex: a lot of traditional fibercraft tools or recreational drug equipment for weed or caffeine). Hair ornaments and pins are fine as long as they have some specific niche use such as ornamental hair rollers or having an interesting closure for pinning your shawl in a specific way or something. - tools that are too broadly applicable such as specialty abrasive drill bits or specialty brushes where what makes them use specific is stuff like size shape and bristle stiffness which are still pretty broadly applicable (a little brush with a long handle has a looot of different uses, think about everything you can do with a used toothbrush).

I ended up having some time today to dig this thing out of my camping gear. It's musty rusty and crusty but it's poked a lot of holes in fuel cans. Haven't camped in years some of this is really taking me back.

Some light hints that may point you in the right direction:

Found this at an estate sale. It’s like a bowl that’s 3/4 covered. I thought it might be a dried flower vase for a wall, but there’s no place on the back to hang it. No inventions for smokables. Anyone have any ideas what it is?

Recently got a Sonnet xMac Pro Server case to put my MacPro6,1 into my rack. I'm getting things fitted into the Thunderbolt expansion housing and noticed this board with a socket on it. The board has power wired from the PSU, but there's nothing in the manual/product details (even though it's in the illustrations) that indicate what this connector is or what its intended purpose is. Can anyone enlighten me?

They started installing poles along a main road near where we live and I’m not sure what the white antennas on them are for. Some of the poles have traffic cameras like the one in the picture but others don’t. They are spaced every half to one mile and have antennas on opposite sides, with what looks like a radio cabinet near the base. The antennas are all aligned along the road, pointing parallel to traffic. This is in southwest Pennsylvania.

It appeared in my discord server. It's not Japan by the way. No one in server has answered it yet.

I'm installing a stereo head unit and don't have sound. This blue wire comes from the included harness and is the amp control wire. The control wire on the other connector at the unit also says amp control and isn't connected to anything. I'm assuming I have to connect the two wires and this thing (plus heat shrink wrap...?) will help. I'm unsure if I should use this or cut and strip the wires and find some wire nuts. How do I use this connector, (if it even is one)?

So, I found this stone mantel behind the garage of the 100 year old house we just bought. It was mostly buried in the dirt. Fits our mantel perfect. Some sort of green stone. Was painted black at some point. I'm trying to strip the paint and want to refinish the stone. Area is southeast of Pittsburgh. Father of the man who built the house was an Italian stonemason that immigrated.

Fiber Internet and cable are included in mandatory HOA fees (yay HOAs) so this seems weird. No other homes in the area have anything like this. Also, I’m 99% sure this unit is a full time Airbnb if that might matter (and why I can’t just ask my neighbor wtf is on their roof). Did some reverse image searches and didn’t find a match, that 5G seemed closest to my untrained eye. I don’t like tech shit that I don’t know what the hell it is. I have a project I'm doing where a small hobby board has connectors for different things, including LEDs. I don't want to use the original LED strip, and would like to make a single LED that plugs into the board instead, but I don't know how to identify/find this connector. Can anyone help?

I found these tiny little bugs on my kitchen counter. I thought they were breadcrumbs until I saw them moving. The photos not that great because they're really small.

These are spread all over the place, approximately every 5 m.

At first, I thought it might be some kind of water treatment plant. But it's too small to be that from what I know about those systems. (Could be wrong.) Then I thought it might be someone's house. But I'm not sure and it's a mystery.

This awful creature was, according to my partner, found under or black walnut tree, attached to or emerging from the neck of a very-recently killed bunny that the dog had (killed within the last ~15m). Any idea what it is? More pics available.

I saw this at a music venue. It was strapped onto railings above the audience facing the stage. Says "kick out", is attached by zip ties, looks like a tube wrapped in a durable plastic coat, and looked like it might have a wire running to it.

Kind of looks like a glossy, all-black bumblebee. Location is Germany.

I'm going to convert my computer chair from pneumatic to static. I'm currently using plastic clasps that are held on with jubilee clips, but they're not great and need replaced (I'm a heavy lad). A sturdy metal version would be better.

Found this spider in Assen(NL) can anyone identify it?

Small metal object with clip on top. Clip spins around the object body and can be attracted to a magnet (so made of steel probably). Object body does not react to magnet (so made of brass maybe). Cone shaped tip seems to be made of some kind of plastic.

Yeah I know these are used for counting vehicles but can they also be used for detecting vehicle speed?

A couple of months ago I purchased a couch and a couple of weeks ago I purchased some covers. Anyone knows what is this bug?

They seem to spin some kind of silk everywhere they go. They seem to be no longer than about 4 mm. I noticed them crawling up things and then dropping down on a line of silk. I've started catching them by putting little sticks up in the air attached everywhere that I find them. They tend to gather at the top of the stick for easy rapture by vacuum.
