Hey whatcha all been playing! I finally finished Alan wake 2 after a long hiatus. Maybe a tad too long but damn what a game. Cannot wait for Control 2 and whatever else Remedy has cooking
Started playing Phantom Liberty today after having finally finalized my modlist. Still hunting down the source of some crashing, but still.
Haven't played Cyberpunk since 1.63, and I am loving the changes so far. Very cool builds available with the perk tree changes, I can already tell I will probably do another full playthrough with a different build once I've ran through Phantom Liberty. Right now I'm playing a Tech/Body/Reflexes spec going full into explosives, combined with Sandevistan, Kerenzikov and all the dashing/mid-air stuff. It's definitely a lot of fun, bouncing around the battlefield like a Gummi Bear on speed while everyone around you explodes and burns.
This week I've gotten into Shining Force 2. I got a glimpse of it 20 years ago on a friend's Dreamcast and finally get to dive in.
I have been absolutely itching to play Final Fantasy Tactics again, but it's difficult to find. SF2 is scratching that itch nicely. Bonus that this cost less than $2 on Steam, and I'm able to fast-forward repetitive battle animations and longer dialogue.
I only played through most of the first one, but really enjoyed it! The second one is firmly on my backlog.
As for FFT (WotL), do you have a Vita lying around? Its around $10 USD on the store iirc. Same on Android, but I'm not sure about gamepad support.
A physical copy shouldn't be much more, be it for the PSP or PSX versions.
I have a physical of FFT for PS1, but my PS2 always gives an "Unable to read" error for any disc, probably the laser?
Would love to be able to play it on PC with my controller. I am too clumsy to play on mobile very much. I think I need to look into RPCS3 some more.
Oh, that could likely be it - you might want to look into replacing the laser as they're pretty cheap and easy to find (but that's not really what you're interested in atm I suppose).
Anyways, the emulator you want to look into is DuckStation. It is pretty much full featured (save states, fast-forward/rewind, etc) and the de-facto PSX emulator to beat.

Started playing Fallout 76 for the first time this week. Been having fun so far. I'm glad I waited for the game to get this far in content.
I'm glad you enjoyed Alan Wake 2! It is definitely a great game.
Still working on Lies of P. This game is taking me way too long to finish. I am still making progress, and I'm still having a good time, but I think I'm going to find a shooter style game to add to the mix so I don't get too burnt out or too bored with the combat style.
I don't know why but 4 years after the official launch I started playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
I like it because other than the stores schedule there is no timer constantly running like you have in Stardew Valley. I tend to get very anxious/FOMO in games with timed events and where 24 hours are like 1 hour or 20 minutes in real time.
I started Alan Wake Remaster but it has really bad visual bugs, my screen keeps going black every minute or 2 and I have to pause the game for a few seconds to fix it so I don't know if I'll keep it going lol
I started it because Control and Quantum Break look so fun so I might just skip to them instead. Happy to see another positive opinion of Control, I'm super excited to try it!
I've just started God of War Ascension today, I've never played any of the series so I decided to play them in chronological order, well at least the ones I can play since the mobile one doesn't seem to be available and I don't have FB to play that one.
Its super fun, I love that they put the button prompts on the side of the screen that the button is on since I'm using an Xbox controller. But I'm not a big fan of how often they zoom out while I'm in the middle of fighting monsters. I just kept spamming quick attack on the back of the snakes because I couldn't tell which character I was lol
I started playing Enderal, the full overhaul mod for Skyrim. Seems quite fun. Maybe 10h in now.
Jumped back on to the Kingdom Come Deliverance vibe. Now I will master that god-damn swordfighting instead of only just trying to kill bandits via a horse far away from them.
Beyond all reason. I stared a few months ago new to the genre and after 100 hours of multiplayer I still sucked I was the lowest rank getting flamed most games.
Now I've got 250 hours under my belt and I'm really enjoying it. Started doing 1v1s which sped up my progress as it forced me to address the weaknesses I'd developed from playing 8v8.
After 120 hours, I finally got bored with Dragon's Dogma 2.
So I'm picking back up Solasta: Crown of the Magister. I also dusted off my VR rig and I'm playing the Affected: The Manor, a horror/haunted house game.
It'll be fun.
Lots of Baldurs Gate 3. I am on my first playthrough and near the end of the game, with 130 hours so far. It is probably my favorite game ever. Can't wait to finish!

Fallout: New Vegas, because it's been like a decade and I want to play again, especially after watching the series.
Took a while for me to get back into it (and figure out the right mods and settings for me), and I'm still feeling a little bit of that overwhelming "fuck, there's maybe too much shit to do", but I'll just chill with it for now.
Edit: LOOOOOOL. Legion already hates me and I haven't even met (and killed) Caesar yet. Barely even started the main quest at this point, which I suppose is tradition with Fallout, to be fair.
At the risk of being shot into the sun for saying this, I'm gonna put down helldivers for a bit cause I'm finding it a bit of a drag.
Picked up Sifu and am loving it. A perfect change of pace.
Finally finished Horizon Forbidden West, only the base game though, not the DLC, which will have to wait. I definitely enjoyed my time with the game, but I gotta say, the story is complete trash and the antagonists are garbage as well. I liked the companions that hang around in your base, as well as a few of the smaller NPCs scattered around the world though.
Then, I started playing World of Warcraft again. I read about the Mists of Pandaria Turbo mode, that's coming next month and really want to try it (since that is my favorite expansion), so I'm taking a few weeks before to play through the current expansion, Dragonflight. It's been about three years since I played the game, so there are a ton of things I have to learn, but for leveling those don't matter, so I'll just go through the main campaign for now.
Manor Lords. Its got some annoying bugs in this EA version, but the developer should be really happy. Enjoying what is in front of me. Its beautiful, mind boggling at times, and fun.
Enderal, it is total conversion fo Skyrim, with new world/campaing and without some elements I dislike, e.g. level scaling.
