This may be my mid life brain speaking but didn’t Reggie retire like 2 and a half years ago or so? It couldn’t have been that long ago.
This seems like a very short span.
I had the same thought, but apparently he was in charge for the release of the switch, so it’s been a minute. That there Covid black hole of time at work if I had to guess
I hope he has a son, Doug Bowser, Jr., ready to step in.
No, Doug Bowser Jr is terrible and always has been. He needs to have his 7 other kids, who were all around before Jr, to become co-CEOs.
Cool. Can we get someone that actually enjoys games and makes decisions that benefit us rather than the shareholders?

So long, gay bowser.
Looking forward to the new leadership under Lars Wiggler
Tom Nook for president
Now they have to find a dude named Mario to take his place.
Nintendo’s next President.
We saw this guy like 3 times, and the last time I remember seeing him was when he basically said “If you’re too poor to buy Switch2, just buy Switch 1” right before Nintendo increased the price of Switch 1.
I don’t really blame him for how Nintendo has been acting lately, as its mainly the Japanese entity causing all the problems, but the former EA VP of Marketing wasn’t exactly doing them any favors either.
I think the recent moving of US support staff to South America probably comes under him.
But other than that, yeah, don’t think he had any significant (or at least visible) impact on anything.
So? I also want to retire.

I misread the title as, “Nintendo of America President Doug Bowser to Retire at End of War” and didn’t even question it until I clicked on the article.
