LOL what’s the opposite of “Dead Internet Theory” 🤣
That’s hilarious.
It’s telling that Meta is still impressed by this kind of bullshit. None of this is particularly interesting.
I don’t think they are, but it generated a bunch of hype, which is really all you need to impress investors.
“Social” isn’t part of the title. Meta is the company that acquired the site.
I also fail to see the ROI for buying a social media site for AI. There’s no advertising revenue to be made. At best you’re just charging a subscription fee.
Often times these purchases are not for the product itself, but how it can be incorporated into an existing product. I imagine if Meta makes bot accounts for people to follow/engage with, they can increase user retention and therefore ad revenue.
they can make themselves appear loaded with customers when Infact, nobody uses their service… they stole your info, create accounts in your name, and post as of you are still using it… they are just lying to investors even more now.
advertising money is a way to funnel stolen money from company to company and bribe people. that’s it… advertising does not work, nor does it generate a good income for the shitty product that we all know is trash
I love how we’ve turned into an advertising economy while simultaneously paying such low wages that only a small fraction of the country has disposable income. I’m in my mid-40s, so I’ve aged out of the enticing demographic, but ads are just pointless to me. I eat, I drink, I pay for car insurance and internet, and after that, well … I generally have $6.
Which I’m not spending on a fucking side of fries.
Thanks, I don’t know how I copied that word and didn’t notice
I have no idea what function this purchase serves. Moltbook seems like Pogs with a shorter shelf life.
The creators received bunch of cash or maybe Meta stocks. Mission accomplished.
Tech business hasn’t been any tech for a while now. It’s about scamming investors.
