I am looking for some advice on how to go about finding replacement front fork for my gravel bike. I bought my bike second hand and it was already a few years old at the time I believe which might explain why it is hard to come by a replacement part. The bike in question is a Fuji sportif le one.0.

I’ve been cycling for years now, spent 5 years in Paris cycling without eye protection.
But since I moved to London, I’ve felt the need to protect my eyes from the wind and humid air.
I’m currently using a copy of the 100% S2 (these) I had found on eBay.
But when I cycle in winter over 20mn I tend to have to close one eye to avoid arriving at my destination with my eyes very dry and/or crying. It’s manageable but quite tiring.
This is the reason a #Shimano XT #derailleur costs more than a Shimano Alivio. On the left you have the whole-body slop of an Alivio M3100 derailleur. On the right you have the same of an XT M8000. There’s noticeable slack in all the pivot joints of the M3100. There’s no noticeable slack in the XT. It feels like a single piece. The result of this difference is misshifts like going one gear higher then back to the desired one, or otherwise some shifts taking longer between gears.
I had to drive around 1500km this past weekend in a rented mini-van. I don’t own a car, so that’s probably more distance than I’ve covered in a motor vehicle in the past 5 years.
Ontario Premier Doug Ford is very car-brained and really, really hates bike lanes. His base is in the suburbs of Toronto and anything that impedes cars gets him wound up. He wants to rip out recently created bike lanes in Toronto. He also banned speed cameras as they were working as intended. 🤷
I only got the one side done tonight, it’s tougher to Dremel through a nickel than I thought, and also pretty tough to properly jam half a wine cork in there.

Hi! I have this beautiful old frame (the white one) that I want to rebuild to a city/pub bike, but will need to research a few things first (tire clearance, bottom bracket etc.) I'd need the brand for that, but can't find anything. Anyone got any ideas?
Found some super cheap fulcrum rapid red 900 wheels at 27.5" size, so decided to do the disc brake conversion. Add some mechanical Tektro brakes from parts bin, Kenda tires at 50mm width and sick looking yellow bar tape from local bike store, 12->10mm axle conversion and we have some absolute beauty here supported by Mezpils lager from Latvia
If you have a bike problem and you wax your chains, and you really dislike the idea of your connecting link being unwaxed, or having to wax it then scrape the sides to assemble, do this and dip it. All you need is thick wire and pliers/cutters.

112 km, 5.5 hours total, cumulative elevation gain 3800 m → I think OpenTracks fooled me there, it's more likely 1230 m… 🫢
Anyone else got one? I bought a Flextail and it works pretty well. The only drawback is the amount of noise it makes. I top up my tire pressure the evening before a ride, because it could wake up all the neighbours if I used it at 6:00 a.m..
Since the last Post I grabbed some cheapo alu forks and cranks for 1by setup, and the bike is starting to feel great. I had a weekend trip with brother in law and realized I really wanted to add then some proper panniers and aero bars for more comfort over longer distances.
Oh, and replaced the old tiagra derailleur with a grx, works great with tiagra 4700 shifters
