I’ve tried Friendica out for a few weeks and as it stands, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I tried multiple servers (including .world) and they were all unstable, appearing down quite often.

Was this in any way inspired by Hell House? I’m only asking because of the name Abaddon. Haha. I’ll check this out once it is released!

Growing up while Voyager was still showing new episodes, it was the Intrepid class (24th century) until the Crossfield class showed up. When I saw the first teaser for Discovery, I thought she was the oddest looking ship that I had ever seen, but she QUICKLY grew on me. I loved her 31st century version as well.

Yeah, I was stoked to see that picture that Ares was carrying around at the end of the movie, but then was sad when we all saw how the movie performed. We will get a continuation right after Tron: Uprising season 2…. 🙃

I’m glad you finally watched it! Like Legacy, it was a treat to see at the theater for the music alone. I think it was a perfectly serviceable Tron movie and was a natural continuation from where Legacy left off.

I think tonight is going to be a Tron Legacy kind of night. I have phases where I watch it at least once a week and I think I’m entering one of those phases now.

Let me rephrase that, the explanation was solid. I was just sad they weren’t able to show up. If I remember correctly they even mentioned in discovery that the mycelial network was connected to subspace.

It’s definitely a smaller distance, but there is precedent there with Troi honing in on Shinzon on his cloaked ship in Nemesis.

Yeah, I can believe that. I was sad that we didn’t get a Burnham/Discovery cameo that was a part of the action, but I also understand that Academy is its own show and doesn’t need that to be good. Just a Discovery fan here dreaming of seeing them in action again.

I must say, I enjoyed this season of SFA more than any season of SNW so far and I thought this particular episode was excellent. I was kind of bummed by the explanation of why Discovery couldn’t jump with the spore drive, but was ecstatic to see her in the last few minutes of the episode (when the kids are standing by the window overlooking the fleet).

I can not wait until season 2.

Since we didn’t really get to see, I wonder how Sam’s personality is going to change in next week’s episode. A whole 17 years, having an actual childhood, being added to your life could make for an interesting transformation.

Kasq looks like a location straight out of No Man’s Sky. What a creepy vibe it has.

I thought maybe that access card she made out of programmable matter was allowing her to do it, but who knows.

Another week, another episode I enjoyed. I’m not super sure how Genesis didn’t think they were going to get caught when they activated the impulse and warp engines.

I don’t know what is happening between Jay-Den and Darem but I am here for it.

I’ve only played two hours so far, but the game currently has the feeling of one of those “just one more turn…” games.

I’m having a lot of fun.

First, I just wanted to say that you’re a treat to watch on Academy and I can’t wait to see where your story goes! It’s always great to see a species fleshed out in Trek, in this case a Klingon that has other pursuits than that of a warrior.

Were you initially intimidated by the fact that you are playing a character that is part of a species that has decades of culture built up to this point? If so, how did you prepare for the role? If not, I can’t tell because you’ve been great so far.

Oh yeah, Intrepid Class sighting! If only it hadn’t gotten its ass kicked.
