Time to quit Namecheap. Can anyone recommend a good, ethical registrar, preferably Canadian?
It isn’t Canadian but it’s right here in my home state of Oregon: Porkbun
They’re great, easy to use, and thus far despite some extremely questionable registrations of my own expressing a variety of views - no issues.
I also live close enough to their office that I could bang on the door if something were awry…
I have quite a few domains through them as well. Haven’t seen anything bad about them and I’ve been treated as a valued customer so far.

Glad I moved to porkbun. Starts countdown until inevitable news about them being bad too
I love Porkbun and live an hour from their office. I have had a number of extremely questionable registrations with them dating back to 2016 and have not had any issues thus far.

I have three domains I need to move from them. Should have listened to my son when he suggested Porkbun a few years ago.
I moved a few domains to them in the middle of last year because my other host had raised their prices ridiculous amounts.
Looks like I’ll be moving them again!

Yeah I know its just having to do it again because apparently its fucken impossible for CEOs to be decent.
Man, i always expected a news like that they just gave of the same vibes vercel did. Always postponed switching provider though. Not anymore, thanks for sharing.
