So I bought myself some Makeup. Got some mascara, two differently colored pouders, some brushes and sponges and some eyeshadow.

I thought my state was doing pretty damn good with regarding LGBT but the Seattle Tacoma area is gay af, and openly so.

Is it legal in the US to get mail delivered to your chosen name when you haven't changed it legally?

Ever since I was around 16, I started to feel different. I had this urge to become really buff and more of a tomboy. While this itself doesn't indicate me being trans, and I was very much a woman, I then started to feel like I wanted to take testosterone at the end of age 16/beginning of age 17. However, I was still a minor and my parents would have thought (and I thought right that they would say this) that it would mess me up forever, even if I'd still be their kid.

I've heard of this from friends where people will feel like their assigned gender at birth but in a sorta trans way, like an AFAB person who feels like a woman but in an AMAB or trans way. They often identify more with trans people, so she would identify more with trans women than cis women.

when i was around 7 or 8, i was convinced i was actually born a boy and my family was lying to me. i wanted short hair too. i didn’t like to wear dresses or stereotypically girly stuff and i wanted to wear men’s clothes. i wanted to hang out with the other boys and it always seemed like the “boy world” was more my thing at that age than the girl world i was expected to enter.

I've been a lurker in this community for a long time, and I've thought about posting with long diatribes talking about how being in the closet and not feeling free to be yourself is soul-crushing and how terrible I feel sometimes, but tonight I wanted to make a post about how today when I stopped to get a coffee the girl behind the counter told me she liked my (shoulder-length) hair and that it suited me, and then gave me an extra espresso shot for free. I'm fighting hair loss and while it might not be the most obvious thing to others, it feels very obvious to me and I'm incredibly insecure about it.

I bought purse myself, had one bought online but has broken zipper, now bought one myself in store and I'm out drinking mojito. I feel happy <3

So to all of you that wonder what clothes to wear to appear more feminine, I have found a quite good method:

i was straight for a good, long while until i dated a nonbinary person (he/they) for about 10 days and realized that i had a boyfriend (that's the term he preferred) for those 10 days. then i was open to having more boyfriends and now i don't even know if i like girls but it's ok 👍

sometimes i feel like my mannerisms are too girly/unpassable even though im a guy (a trans one or under the umbrella like the community im posting in), like i know it doesn't mean anything, but someone told someone they wouldn't pass as male if they used emojis like 😭 or ☺️ even though my bf uses them all the time. idk, i know im a guy and there's nothing wrong with femininity, but still, this is a lil rant i guess

I'm about three weeks past my penile-inversion, full-depth vaginoplasty, and I wanted to document some of the problems I have run into and how I have managed to cope or solve them.

i always try to affirm other people’s gender and accept all people. however, this one person who harassed me, i blocked and can’t ask them directly. they used to be known as a girl named emma but they then said they were a guy with he/him pronouns named ethan. however, they then said that they were a troll and that they weren’t really a boy, even though they changed their snapchat avatar to a boy according to my fiancé who saw their profile and blocked them subsequently.

I'm afab and if the surgery was possible for turning what I have into a fully functioning dick, I would have done it by now.

Despite how a lady at the bookstore “struggled with” my pronouns and bounced off “he” several times before settling on “they” cause apparently she couldn’t bring herself to say “she.”
