Cool variadic arguments and Abstract classes and methods. Multi windows also great, but I think it already works in Flatpak?
🎉
They put a lot of care into that announcement page and showing the major features visually. Great job!
haven’t messed around since 4.1 and picked it up again tuesday. The first thing that wooed me was actually the RichTextLabel bbcode allowing you to easily make animated text. No idea when exactly it was implemented, but that’s some fun stuff. I’ll also look into updating my tilemap to use the new node with automatic poly shape, hopefully it might improve performance a bit
I hope to start a 3D project next year with Godot, as I’m getting more used to making stuff with blender, that Stencil Buffer looks super neat.

I love godot and have been slacking off fully learning it. Guess i have an excuse now
I remember a year or two ago, Godot 3.0 wasn't very good for 3d; after godot 4, the engine has been stellar :D
I really need to get around to learning Godot. I even went through the whole interactive GDScript trainer.
Just send er baud
Wow, these are some huge changes. Looking forward to try them.
