I voted past self one thing. It really comes down to perspective. If im asking the future a question I know nothing about it and am really just throwing a dart in the dark. Sending information to the past means I can use what I know to send the most effective thing possible. On the other hand there is the whole time space continum thing. Still on its surface sending to the past makes more sense to me.
