Oh yeah. We have been exporting the bs but it does go a bit each way. it was thatcher/reagan after all. Murdoch is from australia and there have been canadians and south africans. We are the epicenter. I actually like keynes if you are just talking about the economy. One thing is they like to only follow half his things. They love the tax cuts (which is never done in a progressive way) and spending but don’t like raising them in good times or paying down debt or creating rainy day funds. All economies should be back stopped and bolstered with social safety nets. Heck that should be the bulk of the spending under keynes philosphy but again they don’t like to do that part. Hire more and do more infratstructure in bad times while taking on debt and raising taxes progressvely to keep income disparity from getting beyond control in good times and using it to pay down debt and make rainy day funds. Its not so much to me they use bad theories as they like to pick and choose just the things they want and do a little lip service to explain it as good. In reality they are just causing massive imbalance which all goes back to wealth disparity.
