Links to YouTube posts get turned into broken video URLs

On lemmy.world, this is a link to a post and works. Piefed tries to make it a video link which does not.

(unrelated, but to try to find this community, I clicked the magnifying-glass-looking thing to search and it just yelled at me that I couldn’t search for a community in the wrong format. If I don’t know where a community lives or its exact name, how is that even useful?)

Gotcha, yeah that looks to be something with how your instance has not set up communities properly yet. Bc if instead of searching there you click All communities and search there, it works. Hopefully as Rimu mentioned the newest upcoming update may fix all that!:-)
