Why the fuck would a video be needed for this?

For many reasons! Here are a few :)

Some of us want more than a tldr
Some of us, use videos and documentaries as an intro to topics we find interesting
Some of us like to fact-check what is being said by random people online, and the approach of how this youtuber does it, is a great example of that imo
