So much schitzophrenia comes from zionists occupying two mutually contradictory and irreconcilable cultural worlds. Their opinions on Israel make them evil according to western culture generally, where they spend most of their time. As evil and imperialist as the West might be, it is of a very different quality for most of the population, especially in the liberal circles in which they may spend by far most of their time.

The zionist cultural world however does not permit the embracing of the principles of the other at all. Liberal zionism is an excercise in demonstrating how you cant even get close to bringing zionism “up to code”

Absent push back they can just completely keep these two world siloed off. When they intersect, then they feel the cognitive dissonance, when their regular liberal friends start to look at them weird when they voice thoughts from the other side of the barrier.

They experience the real dissonance between whats inside themselves, and reflexively externalise it. The problem isnt that there IS a contradiction and they HAVE TO in one way or another be wrong. The problem isnt the facts, it isnt that there are objective contradictions here, the problem is their barrier of pure irrationality being disrupted. They are using the word safe to articulate the absence of cognitive dissonance and the vague impression theyre a good person who should be in good standing. It doesnt actually make them unsafe that theyre not, but unsafe has become the de facto term for cognitive dissonance and any degree of social alienation or anxiety that people wont like them just because they dont remotely deserve to be liked
