they put forward one to fund and pay the tsa seperate from the the rest of dhs and republicans said no deal.

I believe I did read that, but Democrats have to let the public know this, so they don’t get the blame. Some news outlets say that Democrats want to first reform ICE.

Yeah I mostly mention because it sounded like you were saying they should put forth something to fix it and they did. Fix tsa now and deal with funding other departments later. They can only agree with the republicans on a fix if republicans want to agree on a fix. The fix is there and its super easy. barely an inconvenience (for republican congresspersons)
