Explanation: Under the brutal Maoist regime of Pol Pot, nearly a fourth of the country was horrifically butchered in the name of party unity. Amongst other petty crimes, like disagreeing with The Party(tm), you might be executed simply for being a dangerous intellectual - after all, you might commit wrongthink, or have connections with foreign bourgeois! Pol Pot was absolutely one of THE most detestable human beings to have besmirched the green face of this earth. I remember watching the Cambodia episode of no reservations on a short flight. And unlike most of the Anthony Bourdain repertoire, it made me furious.
