She loves a dig, little Allie. It started off as a mole hill, but she clearly found something fascinating, hence the dig.

She knows what she did.

When Arlo was a little puppy, he would sit like this, with one hind leg kicked way out to the side. I started coming over and saying "CHICKEN LEG" and then grabbing the top part of that leg and giving it a few squeezes.

This is Gila, she’s a greyhoundmix. She’s nowhere near as fast as she used to be but yesterday the spring sun gave her a boost of energy.

They look so welbehaved, untill you turn your back for a second and they magic the catfood away.

Back in 2019 I started hiking with my dog every morning before work. Early in 2020 I lost my job and hike became longer, then my daughter’s dog Mocha started to join us. Hike started well under a kilometer and in the last 6 years has evolved to a normal day being 8-9km.

The cuddlingest damn dogs I have ever seen.

About two weeks ago, we got about 8” to 10”s of snow in south Louisiana. Being my dog was short haired, I was initially concerned he would hate it. But boy, was I wrong, it was hard to get him to even come back inside once he started playing.

They can seem deep asleep, but any step in the direction of the kitchen is closely monitored, always.
