I won't believe that before you upload other angles where more can be seen or the raw file for this.

This seems like an AI's idea of a mix between a rabbit and a hare.

@Dasus@lemmy.world I'm a amateur nature photographer not an AI image generator. But hey, this is what a young wild rabbit looks like in the UK, if you ever visit, you may get the opportunity to see for yourself..

None

Oh. Well they look like a sort of a cross between our methhead jackrabbits and the cute little fluffy ones. Thanks for the images. That's a really good photo. What lens did you use?

I thought it must be long af. Not a long "AF" (as in the nikkor AF's) but long as fuck. Very nice.

I only got a cheap 300mm. Well I do have my dad's old lenses as well and there's double-rings and whatnot but that's... more niche stuff. Not really for fast photography of moving targets, lol.

@Dasus@lemmy.world I started with a kit lens 70-300 and an old Nikon D80. Yep, wasn't great for wildlife that moved, but the camera was great for learning with.

I started back in like 2005 when I got my first kit with an 18-55 lens. Dad had some suitable longer older analog's I had as well on top. Those are the ones I still have. I've bought a few lenses and cameras here and there but I mostly ran out inspiration ten years ago.

Don't have a car, don't have a functioning bike, just don't even feel like going out. But I do miss it.

Look at the reflection in the eye, the fine fur or the veins in the ear. The position of the sun reflected in the eye also matches up with the lighting and shadows. I think AI is not that good. At least not jet

This one had been told that if it stayed completely still it would be invisible.

A young rabbit, eyes open, pressed closely to the ground. It disappeared into the undergrowth after I had walked past

@lionelb@expressional.social I saw a few today doing the same thing. Thought mine were just lazing in the sun whilst munching away..
