I'm making a doco about a monk in Nepal who wants to be a photographer, and along the way I am relearning what it means to "choose happiness". The final documentary is still many months away from completion, but I'm taking a moment here to share some of my thoughts on the journey so far.

My name is Ewen Bell and I am a LUMIX Australia Ambassador and an Ambassador for Sigma Photo.

I love that folks here on the fediverse can grab a non YouTube version of these videos. I love that we have that choice.makertube.net/w/fwDJQWBjy48iXQ

Screenshot of the PeerTube version playing in my browser. It works and works well.

@ewenbell
This is a lovely video, touching on "showing up", acceptance, adaptability, gratitude, happiness and more. I especially feel the optomism and resilience which come from it.

@ewenbell This is wonderful, Ewen.

Thank you for sharing this here, @ewenbell . This is the kind of video that I wish we had more of here on MakerTube. It was a joy and a pleasure to watch this. Perhaps, through you, Tashi is making even more people smile all over the world. I know I did.

@coreyartus Thankyou so much Corey :) Tashi and myself had a brief moment in time to come together for this. I need to finish the process I started and see where this journey takes me. I needed a little reminder that it's overdue to get back onto this project and find a way forward.
