This really speaks to the attention span of many a scroller. Not even a full headline read, but a glance, an assumption, and a full 5 minutes tapping out a rant based entirely on their lack of attention to whatโ€™s written out right there in front of them.

Or it's rage baiting/humor ๐Ÿคท

Or a commentary on the crappy education system in whatever country the commenter comes from.

If they aren't taught Shakespeare or ancient history it's possible they may not have learned about this event in history.

the Ides is a big Tumblr holiday. I wouldn't be surprised if more people learned about it from Tumblr than from history class.

Tumblr teaches me a lot about things I never knew that I needed to know. Not about English lit and so on (I had a surprisingly thorough education in that area), but the science side of tumblr taught me more than I would ever have thought possible.

Also quite a lot about how to interact with cats.

At a guess... for a few months? (certainly less than a year ๐Ÿ˜œ)

Haha never seen this before it's brilliant ๐Ÿคฃ

I don't know, maybe 10 years ago? That was around the time I first saw this.

Is this a Julius Caesar joke? Is the salad the senate floor?

32 backwards is 23 which is...?

So what's the joke?
