The SSH port is 22. This is the story of how it got that port number. And practical configuration instructions.
Boring story:
22 was free, he asked for it, he got.
And it was between 21 and 23, two services that SSH was replacing (FTP and Telnet).
Them fins must be doing something right. Linux, ssh... Probably something else amazing I'm not aware of as well!
