Two different Thai university groups will visit Ōsaka and Kyōto, and I will assist them before heading to Seoul for the EU-Asia digital partnerships conference later this month. For the first group, from near Bangkok, I will guide them across Ōsaka to Kansai University (関西大学) after giving a presentation to them and members of Kindai University (近畿大学).

Asked to speak on American culture, I will discuss multiculturalism and also address the urgency of the present moment as the world warily awaits the outcome of the U.S. presidential election (もしトラ). I will draw a connection between expanding American multiculturalism and preserving the gains of global democracy - and the threats to both.
