Why wouldn’t she? Harris has already signalled she’s down for some ratchet effect.
She’s a Republican, and has close ties to a whole bunch of the pre-Trump Republican establishment.
And the only meaningful difference between neoliberals and neoconservatives is whether they think gay people belong in the closet.
You’re not wrong when comparing to old Democrats, but hopefully the AOC/progressive types keep slowly dragging those neodumbasses in to the present.
Also this isn’t the right context to point out how shitty the extreme Dems are. It’s at best a nonsequitur of a context switch: “Some Republicans know better than to support a fascist shithead narcissist!” you: “but dems are barely better than the smart Repugs.” ok… democrats aren’t the topic.
