Australia: Electrical Trades Union accuses Labor of treachery, redirects Labor donations to fight government takeover of CFMEU

I dislike a lot of things about the CFMEU, but the way the Labor Government (of all people!) is trying to squash the whole movement is way worse.

The annoying thing is if this puts people in large organisations like CFMEU and ETU off Labor, are they going to vote Liberal? That would be worse again.

If the CFMEU and ETU is going to “punish” Labor for this move I hope they don’t end up cutting off their nose to spite their face.
