Saw the title and knew I had to post here. Not quite as big of a self-own as Square selling Tomb Raider for a blockchain / AI pivot; but amusing nonetheless.

Join the excitement of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 with nWay's officially licensed, commemorative Paris 2024 NFT Digital Pin collection!

You can claim a legendary or epic pin showcasing the Paris 2024 mascot holding a flag and waving. You can add these digital gems to your collection through Magic Eden’s friendly NFT marketplace as part of Coinbase's Onchain Summer event. Be sure to have an ETH L2 Base-supported wallet to secure yours today!

Remember when companies let you download wallpapers or something instead of figuring out what the heck an ETH L2 Base-supported wallet is?

I remember.

I'm gonna save a lot of people some money real quick.

Here you go everyone an anthropomorphic clitoris holding a flag and waving, just right click save as.

Holy shit. No joke.

Square Enix says the sale of its studios and IP will establish “a more efficient allocation of resources” and enable “the launch of new businesses by moving forward with investments in fields including blockchain, AI, and the cloud.”

As far as the IOC shooting themselves in the foot goes, I'm all for it. Fuck them and their corrupt greed regime.

Huh and here I was complaining about the new episode of Futurama focusing on NFTs as being "out of date". Guess everything old is new.

the "new" episode was produced over a year ago and probably written way before that

Those games were certified ass though. Like Mario Party tier games without the connective tissue of the virtual board game linking them together.

Them moving on to shitty NFTs is a continuation of a trend of cashing in instead of a fall from grace.
