ChatGPT Will Soon Prioritize Sponsored Content in Answers

I can’t wait for my boss to start recommending new products at every meeting.

And there it is.

We will look back fondly at these days as “when AI was at its best and not ruined by ads”.

Which is not saying much. The bar is so low it’s a tripping hazard in hell.

Monetizing a product before it’s actually good enough to have other dependent on it just means they don’t have a plan.

Not surprising.

That happened faster than I thought it would. I figured we’d have a longer period of bleeding cash. Maybe a sign the tide is turning.

Good thing ChatGPT (and Grok) are lowest on my list of use because they’re fucking garbage.

Sadly, ChatGPT is a household name.

Awesome, so I can have yet another reason to stop using it.

@henry Re. amazon's stellar customer service, at least in Spain, it's changed to the other extreme over the last year or so. I now buy only what can only be found there, because customer support is now worse than many other e-commerce platforms. That's probably for the best though, it will help wean us off of it.
