So you don’t eat very many fruits or vegetables? Crossbreeding and hybridization are, like, the oldest forms of genetic modification.
I mean, this is kind of disingenuous. Saying you don’t want to consume GM crops is a specific thing that doesn’t just mean you don’t want to consume anything that is the result of directed agriculture.
Sure, most people are stupid and/or don’t care to understand the difference. But traditional breeding and GM are distinctly different processes and not really interchangeable on a practical level.
To be clear, this doesnt make GM hesitancy any less silly in the face of all the evidence for their safety. But I’m a pedant and I think its important to be specific.
