@art getting Bob Ross vibes 😁 "we got a little ISO here and now this ISO needs a little friend here..." 😁

@art cool vid! btw. you might appreciate my recent find: github.com/F1bonacc1/process-c Im basically using a docker-compose.yml + process-compose.yml to prototype a portable serverstack (without systemd/ansible/proxmox cruft)

@art This is cool and all, but what I want to do is host different apps for me and my friend group in a "secure" way πŸ˜… Is doing stuff like that, binding it to domains/sub-domains just as "easy? πŸ˜ƒ I just don't know where to start...

@bloodaxe@fosstodon.org I use Nginx Proxy Manager (NPM). You port forward your router to point to port 80 and 443 of your NPM server and then in NPM you can point to your other local servers via a domain. Fx minecraft.mydomain.com > 192.168.1.20:25565. You can also use NPM to setup SSL certificates automatically.

or, install yunohost. org, it will automagically do it all including opening ports and give u a free subdomain :)

gonna try ts
