The underlying intent might just be to have investigations so uncannily stupid, the whole idea of Congressional investigations becomes ridiculous. If the Democrats take over the House, their investigations in public corruption will be met by a public that has been fed a steady stream of “Bad Bunny twerking” investigations that were entirely in bad faith.
I think that’s why democrats were afraid to call out the election interference in 2024. They were afraid to look like hypocrites and sore losers after Trump accusing them of election interference in 2020
