According to the lawsuit filed Apr. 28 in Tennessee and an interview with her lawyer, the company allegedly used geotargeting to serve the ads on platforms like Snapchat to users near her, including men in her own dormitory.

Headline undersells it: they defamed her by implying she was looking for friends with benefits in an ad, and then harassed her by intentionally buying ad space in her location.

They put her in a lot of danger this way and intentionally because they wanted men in her location to be able to recognize her.

No-one moves a needle individually, but enough farts move a needle within any micro culture. To put it another way, almost all comments have little value, but if they had 0 value, no-one would or should comment. Your farts don’t smell so great, either, btw.
