I’m on the “whatever calendar were using” page. If we’re doing Gregorian then AD is fine. If we decide to switch then let’s get on with it

This is why I laughed about that whole Mayan calendar = world ending crap a few years ago. It’s AUC 2779 so if the world was going to end in 2012 it would have ended in the reign of Henry III, not 14 years ago.

I mean, wasn’t the thing that the Mayan calendar ended at OUR year 2012, but 2012 was 5000 and something to the Mayans, and just where they decided to stop counting?
