The ZH-29 is a semi-automatic rifle developed in Czechoslovakia in 1929, and used by the Chinese National Revolutionary Army. It was later iterated on and upgraded to the ZH-32.

This gun is a further iteration on the ultra short 5.56mm M16K carbine made by La France. The M16K-45 uses proprietary upper and lower assemblies resized for the smaller cartridge, as well as using La France’s patented adjustable twin gas tube system, designed for higher reliability on short barrel guns. It uses M1 Thompson stick magazines.

I stumbled across some photos of this gun and did a quick online dig.

The PSS-2, as the name implies is the next generation of the PSS design which was adopted in the 1980s. The original gun boasted the ability to be shot silently without a suppressor due to its special piston based 7.62x42 SP4 ammo.

This rifle is in exception condition considering it would have been property of the Imperial German Army decades before the first world war.

Designed as a “mid life improvement” to the M4 carbine, the HK M4 development in the early 2000s included many of the features like the short stroke piston that would define the HK 416. When Colt sued HK in 2007 over use of the term “M4”, the companies settled out of court and HK changed the designation of their design to “416”.

Colt produced a few variants of its 9mm SMGs, which Ian has covered in a video. They gave 9mm SMG options in an AR-15 form factor, though operating on blowback rather than the Stoner gas system. This is probably a Colt 635, which was the most common variant of the Colt SMGs.
