Anyone else not like these kinds of parties as kids? Granted I was the introverted kid so it was just so uncomfortable when I was not really friends with the main birthday kid or really any of the kids. I guess it was good training for work events as an adult though.

I don’t remember my parents ever staying when we went to birthday parties unless they were friends with the parents.

But we also didn’t go to many birthday parties where the whole class was invited.

I met some of my best friends at one of their kids’ birthday parties. One of the parents brought vodka and we would take turns taking trips out to their car for shots.
