Is Non Binary fine? If so, I loved “love me for who I am”. Bear in mind that it is a romance manga, not a seinen, but it also touches some serious themes.

I know you already mentioned it, but shout out to Wandering Son for cracking my egg for the second time lmao

I had a friendship with another trans kid in highschool that was very similar to what Nitori and Takatsuki had, and I tossed that shit down the memory hole after things went wrong. And watching the Wandering Son anime, without knowing what it was about beforehand, brought all that stuff back to the surface.

The manga has its problems, but that anime is a masterpiece of adaptation

  • Rain “Rain” is a comedy/drama that follows the daily life of teenage transsexual (who is coincidentally named Rain) attempting to go through her senior year being only identified as a woman.
  • Dresden Codak (more Transhumanist than transgender)
  • Yellow Brick Ramble A reboot of The Marvelous Land of Oz (the sequel to The Wizard of Oz) reimagined as a trans coming out story and also as a romantic comedy road trip.
  • I want to be a cute anime girl Charon’s sister dressed him up as a girl, and he liked it. This is their story, learning about who they are, and their friends and family around them.
  • Clover & Cutlass Do you wish there were more shoujo manga about orc girls kissing?
  • Court of Roses Follow a ragtag group of bards as they band together and travel the realm of Prismal
  • Assigned Male
